In this role, you will:
The primary role for this position engineers and operates a Security Incident and Event Monitoring tool.
Be accountable for build, design, and deployment of information security tools and associated software and hardware, both on premise and in the cloud
Manage cross-functional infrastructure projects from inception to deployment
Provide strong documentation for build and design, as well as for operational support
Provide guidance to security resources, business partners, and IT staff when new projects are introduced to the business through all phases of the application life cycle
Generate innovative approaches and solutions to security principles and business requirements
Act as a trusted technical advisor with key security stakeholders at all levels of the organization for a variety of information security projects that arise from current business and technological developments
Be passionate about information security and conduct research on current security topics
Skills and Experience
5+ years professional experience in Information Security
Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience.
Expertise with Security Information and Event Management tools (SIEM).
Experience with Data Loss Prevention/Protection tools (DLP)
Experience with Endpoint Protection tools (Antivirus, Malware, Encryption, Logging)
Strong demonstration of scripting for automation
Experience in deploying security solutions to AWS and GCP
Experience with APIs
Demonstrated ability to implement secure solutions at an enterprise level
Familiarity with current legal and regulatory requirements around information security and privacy, including PCI, SOX, HIPAA, GLBA, etc.
Experience with Linux or other Unix operating systems.
Understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps concept preferred
One or more certifications like CISSP, Security +, GSEC, CCSP, SSCP preferred
